Alix Truong

Alix Truong is a 19-year-old Vietnamese-American professional pickleball player who has quickly become one of the most exciting young talents on the PPA Tour. She picked up the sport during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 at age 16 in Falls Church, Virginia, and her rise has been nothing short of meteoric. Within a couple of years she was the No. 1 ranked female player in Virginia, won the 2022 APP Next Gen Kansas City triple crown, and earned the 2025 Dink Awards' Women's Breakout Player of the Year. She competes for the Utah Black Diamonds in Premier Major League Pickleball.

Alix is known for her high-energy playing style, powerful two-handed backhand, and her 'Stay Mean' mantra that keeps her locked in during matches. A former high school tennis standout who was No. 1 in both singles and doubles, she chose to go pro in pickleball instead of the college route - a bold move that's clearly paying off. Her brother Jonathan is also a pro on tour, making pickleball a true family affair. Off the court, she's into weightlifting, food, and travel, and has said she'd pursue luxury real estate in California or Utah if she ever steps away from the game.
