Christian Alshon

Christian Alshon went from winning a Division III NCAA tennis championship to becoming one of the most exciting and aggressive players in professional pickleball, all in about two weeks flat. Literally. The Boca Raton, Florida native wrapped up an undefeated 18-0 singles season at the University of Chicago, where he studied economics, and picked up a pickleball paddle just two weeks later in June 2022. He was originally headed for a career in finance, but quickly realized that spreadsheets couldn't compete with the thrill of hitting trick shots and tweeners on a pickleball court.

Alshon's rise has been rapid and electric. He became the first player in MLP history to win championships at both the Challenger and Premier levels, and he's ranked in the PPA top 10 for both mixed doubles and men's singles. He's known as one of the most aggressive, emotional players in the sport, bringing a fiery intensity that either has crowds going wild or opponents grinding their teeth. He's been stacking men's doubles golds alongside Andrei Daescu at events like the Tucson Open, Mesa Cup, and Red Rock Open.
