Milan Rane

Milan Rane was born in Saudi Arabia to an Indian family, moved to Rome, Georgia at age 10, and started playing tennis at five years old. She attended Darlington boarding school and later graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a marketing degree in 2020, though she chose not to pursue college tennis. The pandemic introduced her to pickleball through her brother, and by 2022 she was competing at the professional level.

Rane has racked up multiple APP Tour titles, including a bronze at the 2023 APP Mesa Open, and has made PPA Tour semifinals as well. She's competed in three seasons of Major League Pickleball and is part of the Chicken N Pickle Pro Team. Off the court, she works full-time as a paid search manager for JOOLA (yes, her sponsor is also her employer) and is pursuing a master's in digital strategy at the University of Florida. She's refreshingly honest about why she left tennis, citing the sport's mental pressures, and loves how pickleball's community feel keeps the game fun.
