Eric Oncins

Eric Oncins burst onto the pro pickleball scene as one of the sport's most improved players, going from relative unknown to top-15 PPA Tour competitor in what felt like the blink of an eye. His 2025 season was a breakout year by any measure, finishing ranked No. 11 in both PPA men's doubles and mixed doubles. Eric's game is built on quick hands, smart positioning, and a fearless approach to big moments that belies his relatively short time on tour. He's the kind of player who makes the leap from "who's that?" to "oh no, we drew them" in a single season.

Pickleball runs in the Oncins family blood. Eric's father Jamie is a well-known senior pro, and the two have shared the competitive pickleball journey together. After playing with JOOLA through his breakout 2025 campaign, Eric signed with Engage Pickleball heading into 2026, calling the move a "family thing" since Engage also sponsors his dad. He'll be swinging the Engage Alpha Pro 14mm paddle as he looks to build on his meteoric rise. Eric has quickly established himself as a player the top guys have to game-plan for, and at his current trajectory, it won't be long before he's a regular fixture on championship Sunday.
