Jaume Martinez Vich

Jaume Martinez Vich is the Mallorcan firecracker who went from tiny Spanish island to pickleball's biggest stages in record time. Born in Mallorca, Spain, he turned pro in tennis at just 16, then moved as far from home as possible for college - all the way to Hawaii Pacific University, where he racked up three All-American honors, HPU Male Athlete of the Year, and became the kind of player opponents dreaded drawing in the bracket. He founded Aloha Tennis Management to support tennis in Hawaii and earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Hawaii, because apparently dominating on court wasn't enough. He made the jump to professional pickleball in 2023 and immediately started collecting medals like souvenirs.

Now competing on the PPA Tour and playing for the Atlanta Bouncers in MLP, Martinez Vich has earned 16+ professional medals and climbed into the top 5 in men's singles and top 16 in doubles. In 2025, he signed with Adidas Pickleball, joining their roster of athletes and rocking their foam-injected core paddles. His aggressive baseline play, two-handed backhand crosscourt angles, and pure hustle make him a fan favorite everywhere he goes.
