Dekel Bar

Standing 6'3" with one of the most feared serves in professional pickleball, Dekel Bar made the leap from pro tennis to pickleball back in 2018 after his longtime friends Ben Johns and Collin Johns kept bugging him to try the sport. Originally from Jerusalem, Israel, Bar moved stateside and eventually settled in Dripping Springs, Texas, where he serves as a touring pro at Dreamland. After partnering with Adam Stone early in his career and upsetting top seeds to finish in the top four at a major event, he landed his first sponsorship and never looked back. Now sponsored by 11six24, Bar competes on the PPA Tour and plays for the Brooklyn Pickleball Team in MLP.

Off the court, Bar is a full-blown entrepreneur. He co-owns Pickleball 360, an instructional video platform, alongside Ben and Collin Johns, and the trio also runs Pickleball Getaways, which organizes all-inclusive pickleball vacations around the world. Bar's travel experience makes him the go-to guy for picking destinations. With over 30 PPA medals, a gold in mixed doubles with Parris Todd, and a reputation for pulling off highlight-reel Ernes, Bar has cemented himself as one of the most entertaining and versatile players on tour. His combination of power, reach, and business savvy makes him a unique force in the sport.
