Collin Johns

Collin Johns is the older, quieter, more analytical Johns brother, and for years he was one half of the most dominant doubles team in pickleball history. Together with his younger brother Ben, Collin won 25+ men's doubles titles, building a reputation as one of the best defensive players and reset artists in the game. But in 2025, they made the difficult decision to split up their partnership, with Collin citing the mental health toll of competing alongside a sibling who happens to be the best player alive. He was waived by the Carolina Hogs in MLP mid-2025 after raising concerns about player safety and venue conditions.

A former college tennis player and Ben's original hitting partner, Collin brings a cerebral approach to pickleball. He's the one who did the film study, built the drilling patterns (he estimates 90% drilling, 10% playing), and identified opposing weaknesses. Follow him on Instagram @collinjohns.
