Kate Fahey

Kate Fahey is one of the loudest, most intense, and most entertaining players on the pro pickleball circuit, and she wouldn't have it any other way. A former three-time All-American and two-time Big Ten Player of the Year at the University of Michigan, Fahey became the winningest player in Wolverines tennis history before going pro on the WTA Tour, reaching career-high rankings of No. 492 in doubles and No. 505 in singles. Wrist injuries forced her to retire from tennis, but a coworker's invite to a local pickleball tournament reignited her competitive fire. She showed up thinking it would be a fun weekend and ended up finding her next career.

Now sponsored by ProXR, Fahey has become one of the top women's players on the PPA Tour, winning gold at the 2025 Veolia North Carolina Open and famously defeating Genie Bouchard at the Sacramento Wood Paddle Open. Her on-court yelling has made her a polarizing figure, but Kate owns it completely. Beyond pickleball and tennis, she's competed in soccer, lacrosse, basketball, gymnastics, ballet, and horseback riding. She still loves finding stables to ride horses wherever she travels for tournaments.
