Armaan Bhatia is a 26-year-old pro pickleball player from Mumbai, India, who has rapidly become his country's top player and a legitimate force on the international circuit. He picked up pickleball post-pandemic from a tennis and racquet sports background, and his first pro event was the 2022 Bainbridge Cup in Mumbai, where he won both men's doubles and mixed doubles. By late 2024, he'd improved his rating from 4.5 to 6.2, and he committed to playing full-time in November 2023.

Bhatia's resume is already stacked. He pulled off a triple crown at the PWR India Masters in October 2024, taking gold in men's singles (beating Dusty Boyer), mixed doubles, and men's doubles. He's won events across Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Bali, and the United States, including a bronze in men's doubles at the US Open in 2025. He trains extensively in the US against top competition, has faced players like Jack Sock, and co-founded Mumbai's first pickleball academy with partner Harsh Mehta. Sponsored by JOOLA, Bhatia is proving that pickleball's next wave of global talent is already here.
