Brooke Buckner

Brooke Buckner is a professional pickleball player based in Concord, North Carolina, who has become one of the most exciting competitors on the PPA Tour. A former Division I tennis player at the University of Michigan, Brooke transitioned to pro pickleball in October 2020 - just months after welcoming her son - and quickly climbed the rankings to break into the PPA Tour's top 10 in women's singles. She became the inaugural Agassi x JOOLA signature athlete in 2025, debuting the Agassi Pro paddle at the PPA Tucson Open.

Brooke's playing style was shaped by studying the greats: Andre Agassi's two-handed backhand and Steffi Graf's inside-out forehand. After her playing career at Michigan, she served as an assistant women's tennis coach at UNC Charlotte and Yale before finding her true competitive home in pickleball. She competes for the Las Vegas Night Owls in Major League Pickleball and maintains a strong win rate across all formats. Perhaps most impressively, she competed at the highest professional level while seven months pregnant with her third child, proving that nothing slows her down.
