Judit Castillo Gargallo

Judit Castillo Gargallo is a Spanish tennis player turned pickleball pro who's making waves on the PPA Tour. Currently ranked #23 in women's singles and based in Texas, Castillo made her professional pickleball debut in February 2023 and wasted no time making an impact, winning her first gold medal at the US Open in Sacramento that same year. Standing 5' 5" and playing right-handed, she brings the tactical intelligence and shot-making ability you'd expect from someone who competed in NCAA Division I tennis at Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

Castillo plays with the Electrum Pro II paddle and competes across singles, doubles, and mixed doubles on the PPA Tour. She's also been part of the Major League Pickleball scene and frequently battles top-ranked players. She's partnered with Alix Truong in doubles and faced off against Genie Erokhina and Brooke Buckner in competitive matches. From the clay courts of Spain to the pickleball courts of Texas, Castillo's journey is one of the sport's great international stories.
