Jamie Haas might have one of the most impressive origin stories in pro pickleball. She entered her first professional tournament at the 2023 PPA Mesa Open just three months after giving birth to her third child. Based in Hawaii, Haas transitioned from a career as a college tennis coach at Fresno State, where she discovered pickleball during the pandemic. A graduate of St. Mary's College where she was named First Team All-WCC in singles twice, Haas brought serious competitive pedigree to the paddle.
Since going pro, Haas has competed in 29+ professional tournaments with an improving trajectory, posting a 66.7% win rate in 2025. She's notched victories over notable pros including DJ Young and has reached the finals of the 2025 PPA Tour Asia Vietnam Open in mixed doubles. She also won the women's finals at the 2025 Honolulu Open with partner Christina Chin. Off the court, she raises three kids with her husband Prycen Haas, who is also a professional pickleball player, making them one of the sport's most competitive couples.
