Collin Shick

Collin Shick is a 25-year-old professional pickleball player from Greensboro, NC, who somehow manages to balance being a med student at UNC with competing at the highest levels of pro pickleball. A former collegiate tennis player at NC State who specialized in doubles, Shick discovered pickleball in August 2022 for fun while starting medical school. He joined the UNC Pickleball Club, won the first-ever Collegiate National Championship, and turned pro with a Selkirk sponsorship in July 2023.

Shick's debut was unforgettable. At his first pro tournament, the 2023 PPA Red Clay Hot Sauce Florida Open, he fought his way through qualifiers all the way to the men's singles final, where he faced Ben Johns. He's since compiled a career record north of 100 wins across singles, doubles, and mixed, with notable quarterfinal finishes at events like PPA Virginia Beach and the USAPA National Championships. Shick also played for the Florida Smash in MLP and shares advanced singles strategies on his YouTube channel.
