Mohaned Alhouni is a 29-year-old professional pickleball player who made the journey from Tripoli, Libya to the top levels of American racquet sports. Standing 6'4" with a lefty game that generates serious spin, "Mo" first picked up a paddle recreationally in May 2022 after friends dragged him to a court. By 2023 he'd turned pro. Before pickleball, Alhouni was a tennis powerhouse at Gustavus Adolphus College, where he became a five-time All-American and won the 2017 ITA National Singles Championship, reaching the #1 ranking in Division III.

Now based in Minneapolis, Alhouni competes on the PPA Tour and plays for the Las Vegas Night Owls in Major League Pickleball. He's already faced some of the biggest names in the sport, including matches against Ben Johns, Federico Staksrud, and Jack Sock. His sister Mota Alhouni is also a professional pickleball player, making them one of the sport's sibling duos to watch. When he's not competing, Mo serves on the tennis and pickleball board at Life Time.
