Gregory Dow

Greg Dow is one of those players who makes you laugh just as hard as he makes you think about pickleball strategy. Standing 6'4" with a reach that seems to extend into the next court over, the 28-year-old from Mount Pleasant, SC brings a counter-punching style that frustrates opponents who try to overpower him. He grew up in Mooresville, NC playing baseball, basketball, tennis, and table tennis before discovering pickleball during COVID in 2020, and his multi-sport background shows in his ridiculously smooth hand-eye coordination.

Dow has become a fan favorite on the PPA Tour, largely because he might be the funniest guy in professional pickleball. He once got an official league email for calling other players "cute" during a broadcast, and his podcast appearances (including The Kitchen Pickleball and Pickleballers Season 3) are must-listens. He primarily competes in men's doubles alongside long-time partner Scarpa, and while he's still chasing that big breakthrough win, his focus on winning points in the first 4-5 shots of each rally has been sharpening his game heading into 2026.
