After graduating from UC Berkeley, she solo-hiked the entire Pacific Crest Trail: 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada in 113 days. She averaged 20-30 miles per day and admitted she was "in a rotten mood" by the time she finished. She started pro pickleball one month later.
