Catherine Parenteau is a Montreal-born powerhouse who went from injured tennis instructor to top-5 pickleball pro in about six months flat. After shoulder injuries torpedoed her tennis career (she played collegiately at Arkansas and Michigan State), her coach Simone Jardim convinced her to try this weird sport called pickleball. Parenteau's reaction? "What is pickleball? Like what kind of name is that? Why would I try that sport?" She tried it anyway, fell in love, and won the US Open shortly after. She's sponsored by Selkirk and Skechers, and captains the LA Mad Drops in MLP.

With 53+ PPA gold medals (second most among women) and 3 US Open titles, Parenteau has cemented herself as one of the sport's elite. Follow her on Instagram @catherineparenteau.pb. She brings a uniquely Canadian grit to the court, blending tennis-level footwork with the patience of someone who grew up enduring Montreal winters.
