Jade Kawamoto

Jade Kawamoto is one half of the most entertaining twin duo in professional pickleball. Originally from Maui, Hawaii, Jade and her twin sister Jackie grew up playing tennis together before their dad introduced them to pickleball in 2019, and the rest is history. Jade played Division I tennis at the University of Dayton, where she earned All-Atlantic 10 honors and was named team MVP in 2016, all while earning a degree in International Relations. After college, she brought that competitive fire straight to the pickleball court.

Now based in Indianapolis, Jade competes on the PPA Tour and plays for the Los Angeles Mad Drops in MLP. Her 2025 season was excellent, with a 70%+ match win rate and particularly dominant doubles numbers (72% win rate). She's a consistent threat in women's doubles brackets, often partnering with Jackie for the ultimate twin telepathy advantage. When she's not competing on tour, Jade works full-time for the NCAA as an assistant director in the eligibility center. She and Jackie also host charity tournaments in Indianapolis to raise money for Alzheimer's research, proving they're just as strong off the court as they are on it.
