Salome Devidze is a professional pickleball player from the country of Georgia who now calls Jupiter, Florida home. A former professional tennis player, Devidze competed in Grand Slam events including the US Open, French Open, and Wimbledon, and reached as high as world No. 11 in junior rankings at age 15. She represented Georgia in Fed Cup competition with an 18-11 record before discovering pickleball during a visit to her brother in Indiana in 2021. Within six weeks of serious training, she'd won her first pro gold medal.
Devidze has racked up 36 pro medals across the PPA and APP tours and holds a career win rate above 61% over more than 170 pro matches. Known for a devastating two-handed backhand drive and a powerful serve, she's been ranked as high as No. 1 on the APP Tour and No. 5 on the PPA Tour. Her motto is "1% better every day," and she backs it up with consistent improvement and a willingness to grind. Off the court, she connects with fans through clinics and social media and has become one of the most talked-about personalities in pro pickleball.
