Christine Maddox is a professional pickleball player from Santa Monica, California, who brings serious racquet sport credentials to the court. A former NCAA Division I tennis player at Pepperdine University, she earned ITA All-American honors in doubles and ranks 4th all-time in career doubles wins at the school. After college, she spent five years competing in professional tennis and POP Tennis (paddle tennis) before her paddle tennis partner introduced her to pickleball in August 2022. She was hooked almost immediately, winning gold in 4.5 mixed doubles at the PPA Takeya Showcase just three months later.
Maddox made a splash in her first pro singles event at the PPA Masters, qualifying as the No. 30 seed and pushing No. 2 Catherine Parenteau to three games. She competes across doubles, mixed doubles, and singles on the PPA and APP tours, and her 2025 season saw a strong 63.5% win rate. Known for her infectious energy and positive court presence, Maddox also teaches at Pickletown LA, where she helps grow the next generation of players. Her combination of elite athletic background and genuine love for the game makes her one of the most exciting up-and-coming pros on tour.
