Andre Mercado

Andre Mercado is a 16-year-old professional pickleball player from Scottsdale, Arizona, who has already made history as the youngest male player to win a PPA Pro Main Draw match. Andre discovered pickleball on January 1, 2022, playing casually with his father Randall, and within just a couple of years transformed that hobby into a professional career. He is a two-time Junior National Champion and has made over 13 PPA Pro Main Draw appearances, competing against players twice his age.

Off the court, Andre balances his demanding training schedule of up to nine hours a day with a college-preparatory education through ASU Prep Digital, where he completes high school coursework online while simultaneously earning college credits. He is also a member of the ASU Pickleball Club. Sponsored by Proton Sports and Monster Athlete Juniors, Andre gives back to the sport by coaching juniors and players of all ages. His combination of elite-level play, academic discipline, and community involvement makes him one of the most exciting young talents in professional pickleball.
