Etienne Blaszkewycz

Etienne Blaszkewycz is a professional pickleball player from Montreal, Canada, now based in Austin, Texas on a pro athlete visa. Before going all-in on pickleball, he was a high school physical education teacher, but his athletic resume goes way deeper than that. In his youth, Etienne was one of the top tennis players in Quebec and a national table tennis champion. He even played professional ultimate frisbee for the Ottawa Outlaws.

On the pickleball court, Blaszkewycz is a 5.0+ rated player ranked #71 on the PPA Tour who took silver in Men's Doubles at the 2022 Canadian Nationals. He sold his house and left his secure teaching job to chase the dream of playing pickleball professionally, and it's paying off. With 48 pro tournaments under his belt and counting, his exceptional versatility and ability to seamlessly transition between offensive and defensive play make him a tough matchup for anyone on tour.
