Kelsey Matthews

Kelsey Matthews is a professional pickleball player from Cincinnati, Ohio, competing across the PPA, APP, and MLP Tours. A former college tennis standout at the University of Indianapolis, where she tied for the team lead with 20 singles wins and went undefeated at 6-0 in GLVC conference singles matches, Matthews brought serious racquet sport credentials to her pickleball transition.

Matthews has been steadily building her pro pickleball resume with 16 PPA tournaments and 17 MLP events under her belt. A breakthrough moment came at the 2025 APP Great Lakes Open in Midland, Michigan, where she and partner Allie Reichert reached the women's pro doubles final as first-time finalists, earning a silver medal. Though they fell to Bobbi Oshiro and Sofia Sewing in the final, the result signaled that Matthews is ready to compete at the highest level and has plenty of room to keep climbing.
