Dana Raugust is a professional pickleball player based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, who brings a multi-sport college athletic background to the pro tour. A former women's tennis and softball player at California Lutheran University, where she graduated in 2013 and earned All-State honors in softball, Raugust traded in her racket and glove for a paddle and has been climbing the professional ranks ever since. She's now competed in 25+ pro tournaments and continues to add to her resume on both the PPA and APP circuits.
A retired nurse turned full-time competitor, Raugust has been named MVP in the Arizona Pickleball League (dropping 47 points in a single week) and regularly competes in mixed doubles and women's doubles at PPA events. She's a snowbird player who splits time near Selkirk headquarters in Idaho, and her tenacity on court has made her a tough out in any bracket she enters. From nursing scrubs to pro pickleball, Raugust's second-act story is one of the best in the sport.
