Joseph "Joey" Wild is Australia's top-ranked men's and mixed doubles pickleball player, hailing from Brisbane, Queensland. A former soccer player who found his way to the paddle, Wild has dominated the Australian pickleball scene, winning national titles in men's singles (2023), men's doubles (2024), and mixed doubles (2024). He's also the Season 2 points leader in Major League Pickleball Australia with the Sydney Smash team.
Wild is pushing to make his mark on the international stage, competing in PPA Tour events and testing himself against top players like Tyson McGuffin, Collin Johns, and Jay Devilliers. Off the court, he's an electrical engineer by trade and co-owns Voyager Tennis and Pickleball, running programs in both Australia and Singapore. He's married to fellow player Tatiana Wild, and the two are helping grow the sport Down Under. Sponsored by Franklin Pickleball, Joey is on a mission to put Australian pickleball on the global map.
