Somer Dalla-Bona

Somer Dalla-Bona is an Australian pickleball powerhouse who currently holds the #1 ranking in Oceania. A former professional tennis player who was ranked as high as 49th in Australia, she played Division 1 college tennis at Coastal Carolina University, where she posted a 14-3 record, went undefeated at 10-0 in conference play, earned All-Sun Belt first-team honors, and graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA in finance. Yeah, she's that kind of overachiever.

After transitioning to pickleball, Dalla-Bona dominated the Australian scene, winning the MLP Australia League with the Brisbane Breakers in 2023 and captaining the Northern Crocs to the MLP Australia and Asia Season 1 title in 2024 while maintaining an undefeated singles record. Her backhand is widely considered one of the best weapons in the Oceania pickleball scene. She currently plays for the Burras in the National Pickleball League (NPL), where she leads Season 2 in pro women's points. Whether it's tennis or pickleball, singles or doubles, Dalla-Bona just keeps winning.
