Melinda Wilkins

Melinda Wilkins is a professional pickleball player and coach based in St. George, Utah, who balances competitive play with a deep commitment to developing the next generation of players. Melinda competes in professional tournaments while also serving as assistant coach for Utah Tech's nationally ranked collegiate pickleball team, which holds the No. 1 ranking in the country. She helps manage a 24-player roster alongside head coach Chloee Butterfield, bringing her competitive experience directly into the college game.

Off the tournament circuit, Melinda directs women's pickleball leagues at Summit Athletic Club, including the creatively named "Breakfast Beauties" and "Lunch & Ladies" programs that welcome players of all skill levels. She also offers private lessons and group coaching. On the competitive side, she's competed in professional events at the 5.0 level and above, with strong showings in women's doubles alongside partners like Tonja Major. Between coaching college kids, running community leagues, and competing at the pro level, Melinda is one of the busiest people in the sport.
