Zack Taylor

Zack Taylor is a professional pickleball player based in Los Angeles who brought one of the most unique backgrounds on tour: Hollywood entertainer turned touring pro. Before picking up a paddle, Taylor appeared on American Idol Season XIV (Top 48) and the ABC show Boy Band (Top 30), and even sang the National Anthem at Kansas City Royals and Sporting Kansas City games. Now sponsored by Joola and serving as a full-time touring pro, he competes on both the APP and PPA circuits in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

Taylor is an 18-time 5.0 gold medalist with three professional medals on the APP Tour, including a gold in doubles at the 2024 APP Southern California event. He teaches at Pickletown LA when he is not on tour and has become a key figure in growing pickleball among younger demographics in the LA scene. His playing style blends patient defense with aggressive backhand rolls, and his entertainment background gives him a natural ease in front of cameras and crowds that most players simply do not have.
