Marcin Rozpedski, known as "The Polish Monster," is a professional pickleball player originally from Warsaw, Poland who dominated men's singles from 2015 to 2018 with a run that few players have matched. He won back-to-back USA Pickleball National Championships and Tournament of Champions titles in 2015 and 2016, plus the 2016 US Open Pickleball Championships, establishing himself as one of the early legends of competitive pickleball. He also picked up a 2017 Tournament of Champions gold in doubles and a silver at the 2018 US Open.
Beyond pickleball, Rozpedski is a tennis coach with over 25 years of experience who has worked with Grand Slam champions Ana Ivanovic and Victoria Azarenka through his Rozpedski Tennis Academy. His career took a dramatic turn in 2018 when he needed a right knee replacement, returned to win bronze at Nationals just months later, then faced a left knee replacement complicated by infection that required multiple surgeries and sidelined him for two years. Now around 50 years old, Rozpedski has made his way back to competitive doubles, proving that "The Polish Monster" isn't done yet.
