Lisa Alipaz

Lisa Alipaz is a professional pickleball player and Engage Pickleball team member who brings a remarkable coaching and athletic resume to the sport. She served as head women's tennis coach at Saint Mary's College for 18 years, guiding the Gaels to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2010-2013) and their first-ever WCC Championship title in 2010. She earned five WCC Coach of the Year awards during her tenure. As a player, she was a four-time ITA Scholar-Athlete at San Diego State, graduating magna cum laude with an NCAA singles ranking of No. 24.

Alipaz began competing in professional pickleball in 2024 and has already made a significant impact. At the 2025 USA Pickleball National Championships in San Diego, she teamed with Jennifer Dawson to win gold in Champions Women's Pro Doubles and also captured gold in Champions Pro Mixed Doubles with Marcello Paiva Jardim. Her decades of high-level tennis experience and coaching IQ translate beautifully to the pickleball court, making her a formidable competitor in the Champions division.
