Andy Silverstein is a competitive pickleball player who cut his teeth in the Boston area, where finding a court meant driving an hour each way just to play once a week. That kind of dedication set the tone for his pickleball journey. Now based in the Santa Barbara area, Silverstein competes in 5.0+ divisions in both men's doubles and mixed doubles, consistently putting himself in medal contention at high-level amateur and open events.

Silverstein took gold in Men's Doubles 5.0+ at the Kenny Loggins "Pickleball in the Danger Zone" Tournament, one of the more creatively named events on the circuit. He's also competed in mixed doubles at the same event, pushing deep into bracket play before an unfortunate injury forced a retirement during a gold medal match. Whether he's grinding through bracket play or making the long drive to the next tournament, Silverstein brings a blue-collar mentality that makes him a tough out every time he steps on court.
