Tyler Hong

Tyler Hong is a professional pickleball player and PCI-certified instructor based in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, who has competed in 9 pro tournaments across the PPA and APP tours. A 5.0-level player with gold medals at both PPA and APP events, Hong is one of the top competitive players in the Midwest pickleball scene.

When he's not competing on tour, Hong teaches private lessons through Lucky Shots Pickleball Club, where he breaks down technique and strategy for players of all levels. His approach to coaching mirrors his playing style: smart, technical, and focused on winning the right points. As an up-and-coming pro who also gives back to the community through instruction, Hong represents the dual-threat player-coach model that's becoming increasingly common in the sport.
